A George III silver teapot, maker Hester Bateman, London, 1780, of oval form with chased garland and ribbon decoration, 25cm long, 469gms, 15.08ozs (dents)
Overall condition is fair to good. All marks are clear and legible. There are small creases to both oval catouches and signs of thinning. . The handle has been either replaced or repaired as there are signs to the pin holes in the handle sockets of repairs, the handle dosen't wobble. The lid sits flat to the body but there is wear to the hinge pin.
